Dear readers,
My name is Carmen Chow and my student ID is 1000511892. I am a third year student at UCSI. My first assignment for "Introduction to IT CC106" is to create a website with my very little knowledge on HTML. My partner for this assignment is Catherine Siew Yin Yee. We worked together really well because we have been working together before.
In order to complete this assignment, I have to google for HTML codes from the Internet. Once I've got the hang of it, it is pretty easy to create a website. I've understand that each code is basically being dissected into something simpler. For example, ul means underline and BGCOLOR is background color, just to name a few.
I still find it hard to upload it to the free server. Geocities is not exactly as user friendly as it seems to be. Blogging is much more fun and easy as blogspot is very user friendly. But I am not a fan of blogging as I do not like to share my life with the public.
If I were to do this assignment again, which I hope NOT! I wish I know how to do the crawler thingy whereby the words will glides through. One thing I love is the color code I get from the net. A slight number change can get you different color. Obviously from this assignment, I've learned how to create a website from the scratch using the oh-so-complicated HTML codes.
